Malith Gunasekara has more than 24 years of hands-on experience in Information Technology with more than 14 years being at a senior management level in Singapore and Sri Lanka. Mr. Gunasekara has extensive experience in providing I.T. Consultancy services directly to clients in USA, Norway and Sri Lanka and also has provided consulting services for World Bank, ADB, USAID and UNDP funded projects in Asia, Middle East and Africa.

Mr. Gunasekara specializes in providing consultancy services for Economic development agencies, Micro finance, Banking - Savings, Commercial and Development, Asset Management, Municipal Governance, Pension funds, Free Zones, Utility MIS (Electricity & Water), E-commerce and business application development.

The tasks of most assignments included Corporate I.T. Planning and Implementation, Preparation of Request for proposals (RFP) for hardware, software, data communications, web sites etc, Evaluation of bids, Vendor negotiations, Award and contracts, Project Management, Systems Audits and Management reviews. Mr. Gunasekara also has extensive technical knowledge and work experience in Project Management, Systems Analysis & Design, Programming, Implementation, Computer Audits, Setting up of web sites, e-commerce and e-business sites, Data Communication and Office Automation using many hardware platforms.

Thishan Gunasekara has worked for blue chip companies in Sri Lanka and has more than 16 years of hands-on experience in Information Technology with more than 10 years being at a senior management level.

Mr. Gunasekara also has extensive technical knowledge and work experience in Project Management, Systems Analysis & Design, Programming, Implementation, Computer Audits, Setting up of web sites, Data Communication and Office Automation using many hardware platforms. He has had hardware experience in working with AS/400, System 34 & 36, PC networks with LAN, WAN & VPN’s.

Apart from his professional carrier of Information Technology he has extensive work experience and knowledge in Administration, Procument (Local/Overseas), and Logistics & Commercial, Production, Planning, Marketing, Finance, Infrastructure development, Recruitment & Training and working with staturatory bodies.
